Oakley Brooks joined NACA as its president in February 2010. Mr. Brooks was formerly vice president for public affairs for Bombardier, Inc. of Montreal, Canada, based in Washington, DC. He represented the company's aerospace, rail/transit, and corporate interests before Congress and executive agencies.
Prior to that, in 1980, he opened the North American sales and support office for Short Brothers of Belfast, Northern Ireland and was responsible for sales and support of the company's aircraft and defense systems to civil and government customers. Bombardier purchased Shorts in 1989.
Mr. Brooks began his career with Air New England in Boston, Massachusetts, a certificated regional airline, where his last position was executive vice president.
Mr. Brooks resides in Washington, DC with his wife.
