National Air Carrier Association was founded in 1962 and provides vital links between Congress, executive agencies, and its airline members.  Our mission is to improve communications, promote fair regulations, advance global aviation interests, and ensure the industry’s continued priorities concerning operational safety and efficiency.

Maintenance Council

The NACA Maintenance Council consists of the management of each member's maintenance organization. The Council deals with a variety of issues that shape the way airlines do business. Meetings usually include:

  • Presentations by, and discussions with, government officials on regulatory and industry policy issues
  • Discussions and updates on aviation rulemaking advisory groups whose purpose is to assist the Federal Aviation Administration in the development of regulatory standards
  • Discussions and experience sharing on issues of common concern to our members
