National Air Carrier Association was founded in 1962 and provides vital links between Congress, executive agencies, and its airline members.  Our mission is to improve communications, promote fair regulations, advance global aviation interests, and ensure the industry’s continued priorities concerning operational safety and efficiency.

Safety and Security Council

The NACA Safety and Security Council provides a forum for the safety and security management staff to exchange ideas and solutions to various safety and security related issues that affect the health of their airlines.  Council meetings typically include:

  • Presentations of services and products that may be of interest to members
  • Presentations by, and discussions with, invited government guest speakers
  • Exchange of information relating to accident/incident root cause analysis
  • Development of audit and evaluation tools
