National Air Carrier Association was founded in 1962 and provides vital links between Congress, executive agencies, and its airline members.  Our mission is to improve communications, promote fair regulations, advance global aviation interests, and ensure the industry’s continued priorities concerning operational safety and efficiency.

Operations Council

The NACA Operations Council is functionally similar to the Maintenance Council.  Attended by members' vice presidents for operations or their management staff representatives, the Council receives presentations from government and industry representatives; discusses current operational and regulatory issues; and recommends formal positions to the NACA Board of Directors.
