NACA Statement on Proposed PFC Increase In FAA Reauthorization

Today the National Air Carrier Association issued a statement for the record for the various House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee hearings being held on the upcoming Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization bill.  The airport community is pushing for a substantial increase in the rate for the Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) paid for by anyone flying on a commercial aircraft. NACA strongly opposes any increase in the PFC as being anti-consumer and inappropriate given the substantial monies already available to airports around the country.
